björk crystalline [video]

björk's music has this everlasting ability to always captivate me. Crystalline is amazing, I mean look it's björk! The song is truly phenomenal, powerful and still so trippy but in a very creative way. Well, needless to say I love this song/video.

WATCH THE THRONE Documentary

Watch the Throne Documentary follows Jay-Z and Kanye West work as they bring the album to life. The two and their camp take to Sydney, Australia for recording at a private estate. The documentary sheds light on Kanye's rise as an early fan of Jay-Z to working on a collaborative project. Jay-Z shares his views on Kanye West as not only a peer but an artist.

Although, I don't work in music, watching this documentary is absolutely motivating. Both Jay-Z and Kanye West have made names for themselves that will forever lead to becoming legends in music. It's just incredible seeing them in their creative process.

The album is set to release first, digitally on August 1 and physically August 5th. The album can be preordered at WatchTheThrone.com

I'm eager to see what the editorial is going to look like because from the previews, it's nothing less than greatness!

Following the release of singles "Who Run The World?" and "Party" featuring Kanye West and Andre 3000, this cover is sure to get fans excited for her new album 4.

I am very careful of ever putting the role model tag on my shoulders. I am human and I am expected to have imperfections and make mistakes. However, if there are positive things I do that inspire or influence people I feel like my purpose as a person is that much more fulfilled. When I announced my role with Rimmel, I felt really proud to see such a positive response especially being that I represent someone of color, a single mom, an artist...and that I don't have to compromise my views to do so!
