I recently went to see the movie Julie & Julia , two true stories based on the lives of a popular chef Julia Child and author Julie Powell.

"Julia Child and Julie Powell - both of whom wrote memoirs - find their lives intertwined. Though separated by time and space, both women are at loose ends... until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible. "Written by Columbia Pictures

Julie Powell challenged herself to cook from Julie Child's cook book for a year and would blog her experience!
The challenge may seem rather simple but when you have a full time job and marriage to consider, it is a lot more than that. See these recipes aren't simple 20 minute recipes. They took time, hard work, and money. I instantly was impressed and inspired for several reasons. Her challenge had me thinking, what can I put myself to doing for a certain time limit? I had little to no cooking experience so that was out of the question. Knitting? Nope, I had little patience for such an activity.
I began thinking of activities that interest me that I had some experience with, drawing, photography, sewing... I wanted to challenge myself to complete a project so that was my goal.
Well before I could challenge myself I would need to come up with something to do.
I had already had a side challenge (post coming soon) but what can I do?
