as many people know, I am pro anything fashion.
so i would love to see some new fresh faces out on the scene. here are two awesome model competitions going on right now!

Joe’s Jeans has relaunched their website, and are looking for a fresh new face to go along with it. The three-month competition to find Joe’s next model (one male, one female, and no camera-shy chicsters, s’il vous plait–this is for a worldwide ad campaingn!) launched last week, so you lovely aspiring model types can submit your application videos now at JoesNextModel.com. Marie Claire’s Mary Filar, Photo[genics’ Nicole Bordeaux, and Joe’s founder and creative director Joe Dahan will narrow the competition to the top five men and women who will be flown to Los Angeles for a private casting before the winner is announced on August 12.
VMagazine and Ford Model has combined forces to bring us an amazing competition, V A Model, a chance to be the new face of womens fashion. The winner will be featured in V magazine and also receive a contract from Ford model management.

in march i posted a blog about how i was completely fed up with the Rihanna and Chris Brown situation. I was so disappointed that neither stood up to speak out on domestic abuse, for women to see the importance of leaving the man and for men to realize the wrong they have done. Well recently Keiara Knightley filmed a PSA about domestic abuse but it has been banned from British TV.
It's really unfortunate that this was banned because the PSA is some womens realities, each day.

i often wonder how my family would feel about me bringing home a completely blasted boy.
its what i like and i really wonder how they would feel if i introduced them to a future boyfriend who is overly inked...i dont have one now but im thinking...
im pretty blasted and i need a boy who is fully blasted.
i would love to see their faces when they shake his blasted hands ...

"It's a wig! Did I have you fooled? I did a fabulous photo shoot this weekend for Scott Barnes book called About Face. Chuckie Amos did the hair and transformed me with this blonde wig and they put this hair piece on! I haven't taken it off since, because I'm really loving the look. I've been wearing it around New York and everyone thought it was my real hair! It's making me want to dye my hair and maybe go lighter for the summer. What do you think? Should I dye it for real?"

decided to post about one of my fav bands JULIETTE AND THE LICKS!
since tomorrow is 4.2o i thought this post was only necessary. see, my first time hearing about THE LICKS was last 4.2o[2oo8]
at first i was like who is this kick ass girl in neon green skinnys? i had no clue. so this kick ass girl made her way to the huge stage at the Earth Day festival at the Santa Monica pier. The music came on and bam, it was music love at first hear. My ears fell in love with the sound of the Licks and I have been a fan ever since.
so tomorrow will be the anniversary of my love for JULIETTE AND THE LICKS!
btw. Juliette is also an actress which makes her total bad ass in my book.

chrisitina is a beautiful girl but i believe she tries too damn hard when it comes to her style.
shes been spotted recently wearing major labels on, hmmm i wonder why but besides that big name labels dont mean shit if you can wear the article of clothing in a fashionable way...could someone, a professional stylist step in and help this girl?!
i also feel like she relies on american apparel too damn much, nothing wrong with american apparel but when you are chased by cameras its time you step your wardrobe up bro

r&b artist and model cassie recently cut the side of her head and many ask why or wtf was she thinking?
i remember when kelis came back with "im bossy" with the ultimate trendsetter haircut and dozens of girls flocked to barbershops to redo "the kelis". what many people forget are the number of women artists that have or have had the side of their hair cut as well, from kelis, miss jack davey, kesh[designer], lead singer of the band new young pony club...
as some point there is some woman who has cut their hair that you personally know. i personally knew way too many girls who did "the kelis"
so why is everyone shocked that cassie wanted to do the same? some say that she is too pretty for it, some think its straight up hideous. i personally feel that it is a good look for her.

this is the BEST mixtape out right now.i have been waiting for this album to drop because the album is by far the most diverse one out right now. with features from jadakiss, diddy,solange, janelle monae...thats just mentioning a few of the many talented people on this O N E album!
its worth the listen, no track deserves to be skipped because each is amazing. the transition from track to track is amazing!
