i recently complained about the lack of creativity in the "digital girl" video. but i must say after watching the successful video, i am extremely impressed. drake's appearances in videos have gone up big time.
see with "new" artist, videos are a great way for people to recognize you and connect more to your music. even if the song is not yours, your appearance creates a larger fan base because people are interested in what they see.
i have never disliked a trey songz video so i was never expecting anything less than creative with "successful". the video didnt need a million beautiful curvaceous women and bottles being popped. the video isnt technically simple but it gets one to think and focus on the lyrics and meaning of the song.
i truly am impressed.
enjoy

double take.
i went on someones blog and peeped the video to Digital Girl and I stopped it 30 sec in.
the video is basically the same as Girls Around The World by Lloyd just different rappers and singers but the concept, the girls futuristic makeup, its all the same!
see for yourself .
Digital Girl
and Girls Around The World
in this world. creativity and individuality is a must. I could understand if the concept was used in another decade and they wanted to pay tribute to it but Lloyds video isnt that old so why?
Jamie Foxx needs to invest in a better creative team.

I recently went to see the movie Julie & Julia , two true stories based on the lives of a popular chef Julia Child and author Julie Powell.

"Julia Child and Julie Powell - both of whom wrote memoirs - find their lives intertwined. Though separated by time and space, both women are at loose ends... until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible. "Written by Columbia Pictures
Julie Powell challenged herself to cook from Julie Child's cook book for a year and would blog her experience!
The challenge may seem rather simple but when you have a full time job and marriage to consider, it is a lot more than that. See these recipes aren't simple 20 minute recipes. They took time, hard work, and money. I instantly was impressed and inspired for several reasons. Her challenge had me thinking, what can I put myself to doing for a certain time limit? I had little to no cooking experience so that was out of the question. Knitting? Nope, I had little patience for such an activity.
I began thinking of activities that interest me that I had some experience with, drawing, photography, sewing... I wanted to challenge myself to complete a project so that was my goal.
Well before I could challenge myself I would need to come up with something to do.
I had already had a side challenge (post coming soon) but what can I do?

take a bite of this.
Vampires seem to prevail! Vampires seem to biting us at the right spot, from popular television shows such as True Blood to movies such as Twilight, they are everywhere.
Vampires, the pale mystique creatures who instantly heal and could diminish from a stab at the heart and sunlight. The popularity of Vampires in the media has greatly increased. Shows used to showcase the "vampire slayers" as the main characters but now it was time to see where the Vampires were coming from.

HBO series True Blood started the trend in 2008 with their first season.
"Meanwhile, in the backwoods Louisiana town of Bon Temps, Sookie Stackhouse works as a waitress at the down-home bar Merlotte’s. Though outwardly normal, she has unusual qualities of her own: Sookie can read minds, which complicates her world in endless ways. But Sookie’s life becomes a lot more interesting when Merlotte’s gets its first vampire patron – the 173-year-old Bill Compton – and the two outsiders are immediately drawn to each other." -true-blood.net
The show became an instant hit and is now on its 2nd season. The show is always on the Top of popular site, Twitter.com 's trending topics. It continues to get high and positive remarks from its audience and always leaving us wanting more. But had True Blood met its match with CW's new series, Vampire Diaries ?

About : "It’s Elena’s first day back at Mystic Falls High School since the tragic death of her parents. Along with her Aunt Jenna, Elena tries her best to look after her troubled younger brother, Jeremy, and salvage what family they have left. The first day is already shaping up to be a struggle for Elena until she meets the mysterious new kid at school, Stefan. Elena is touched that he can relate to what she’s going through. What Elena doesn’t know is that Stefan is a vampire, constantly resisting the urge to taste her blood. As their undeniable connection grows deeper, Stefan’s dangerous older brother, Damon, shows up to wreak havoc on the town of Mystic Falls - and claim Elena for himself." vampirediariesweb.com/
The show may already be a book series but it honestly sounds a lot like movie, Twilight but I guess we will have to wait until September 10th for the shows premiere to see if it will HBO a run for its money.

the lovely bones.
i have always been a reader and in middle school i read The Lovely Bones by author, Alice Sebold. I fell in love with the book and immediately felt a connection with each character.
The story is about Susie Salmon, a fourteen-year-old girl, who is murdered. The story follows as her family copes with the death of Susie and how Susie watches over her family. Thats all I will say because the book is a must read.

I recently went to the movies and saw the trailer for The Lovely Bones and freaked! I have been wanting a director to pick this book up for a movie and now that they have, I am highly anticipating its opening night. The trailer looks incredible, I just pray that the movie is as fitting to the book as possible.
Here is the trailer for the movie.

inked.
i was checking out inkedmag.com as usual and ive been meaning to post this on my blog since im feeling these ladies ink.

tattoos?
*this post has a large number of questions so feel free to answer.
"guess what?...i got my first tattoo!"
here i am inked up, only on number 6 but plenty more to come, wondering why my younger sister has her first tattoo. i admit that it seems a tad bit hypocritical but maybe its just the big sister gene that makes me question her actions.
i first was shocked but once i saw that it was dainty heart on her wrist i exhaled and approved. i couldn't really be upset at that especially seeing how my first tattoo is the word "love" on my lip.
but was there an age that tattoos would become acceptable?
or were underage tattoos already acceptable?
i was puzzled on the answers because i started my collection of work before i turned 18 with my parents consent. so was i in the wrong too? or were my parents the ones to blame for signing the consent form allowing the needle to touch my skin leaving the words "hear no evil" behind my right ear?

WHO THE F@#! IS ROBOCOP?
...why thats me of course.
welcome to my alias, robocop.

history: i bought these killer glasses one day in New York. i started wearing them casually at anytime of the day and got a lot of recognition for them and a lot of comments on the shades.
"she looks like she's supposed to be in Kanye's videos."
"was she in the 'stronger' video?
"man a.noel, you look like you belong in the 'everybody nose' video!"
i thought with all the comments that i should create a character when i wear them...i call myself ROBOCOP.
robocop. was spotted at unlaced. july18th on my boy Ty. Adams, photographer, designer for High End Clothing and blogger.
robocop. was spotted on Arielle Yasmin at [one crazy art and music festival] aug1st.

look out for robocop. the shades come with the girl(me)
